Consultations

There are 2 options:

• In person with your child
• By Skype or Telephone – with parent(s) only

In Person:

Kidmix Program Enrolment:

Before enrolment in a Kidzmix Program all children are seen for an initial consultation with Helen Davidson, Founding Director.  This is in order to assess the child’s current social and emotional functioning and their suitability for the Kidzmix Program.

Emotional or Behavioural Concern:

Individual consultations are available for assessment and treatment of any emotional or behavioural difficulty that your child is experiencing.

Private health fund rebates apply to all individual and family face to face consultations.  The item numbers are as follows:

By Skype or Telephone

A convenient, effective and economical option which involves no time off work or parking difficulties – and it can be scheduled at a time to suit your schedule – including Monday to Wednesday evenings.

This is how the Skype or telephone consultations work:

• You go to the Shopping page
• You nominate the consultation you would like -either Skype or Telephone – for  30, 45 or 60 minutes – or a discounted package of 6 sessions
• We will email you a choice of consultation times and book them in
• We then link up – and your help and support begins
• Skype is not difficult to download – and it’s free

Fees for Skype or Telephone Consultations:

Payment is by PayPal or internet banking.  If you would prefer to submit your credit card details without going through PayPal, please advise of this in your contact, and we will call you to arrange.  Please note that telephone or Skype consultations do not qualify for a private health fund rebate.
